This Romeo and Juliet Dice Poetry is a student favorite where students choose a character from Romeo and Juliet and write a poem to another character in the play. They will use writing skills to stay true to the plot line, character style, tone, and perspective to write their poem. The dice determines how many syllables per line they need to use in their poem!

For example: A student might choose to be Juliet and write a poem of disgust to Paris.

This activity can be used at any point in the play, and pairs nicely with Valentine's Day!
