The Social Media Scavenger Hunt activity allows students to move around the classroom while reading passages and answering questions. Students are on a mission to unlock the secret school WIFI password, and in order to do so, they will have to read, comprehend, and answer questions about the passages.
 
The passages contain information about how social media impacts humans, both positively and negatively. As students answer the questions about the passages, they will collect code words. Once they have all 10 code words, they will unscramble the highlighted letters to solve the final answer!
 
This activity will have your students out of their desks, reading and skimming a text for answers, and collaborating with peers, all while having fun and staying engaged!
