The William Shakespeare Scavenger Hunt activity allows students to move around the classroom while reading passages and answering questions. Students are on a mission to locate Shakespeare's missing remains and undo the curse that was placed upon the person who disturbed his resting place. In order to solve the mystery, students will have to read, comprehend, and answer questions about the passages.
The passages contain information, conspiracy theories, and legends about William Shakespeare. As students answer the questions about the passages, they will collect code words. Once they have all 10 code words, they will unscramble the highlighted letters to solve the final answer!
This activity will have your students out of their desks, reading and skimming a text for answers, and collaborating with peers, all while having fun and staying engaged!
